"When nature speaks through the flower, beauty is expressed in its purest form. " Since September 1, 1998 we cherish our passion: plants. We, Erwin Verhoeven (trained horticultural engineer) and my partner Margreet Blaauwendraat, run the almost 150 year old Sonnenburg nursery. This was completely rebuilt and renovated in 1998/99 to create a good basis for the production of plants for balcony and garden as well as for sales. Marked with signs, you can reach our sales point from Sonnenburggutstrasse, which is located inside and around the greenhouse. The greenhouse serves not only as a plant nursery, but also as a working and sales place, so that our customers can always get a taste of the greenhouse air and gain an insight into our gardening work. We are looking forward to your visit.

Since 1875 Your idyllic nursery in the historic park of the Sonnenburg Estate. Our sales offer includes flowering perennials, shrubs, summer flowers, fruit and berries, water plants, vegetable seedlings, containers and much more for balcony and garden. In winter we offer everything for a beautiful Advent and Christmas season: flower arrangements, Christmas trees, decorative boughs, door wreaths, etc. We are happy to advise and help you in the planning and design of the balcony and garden and look forward to your visit.

**About us... Since September 1, 1998 Erwin Verhoeven (trained horticultural engineer) and his partner Margreet Blaauwendraat run the Sonnenburg nursery, which is almost 150 years old. This was completely rebuilt and renovated in 1998/99 to create a good basis for the production of plants for balconies and gardens as well as for sales. In the new light-flooded greenhouse (computer controlled) with eb and flut tables for the irrigation of plants, optimal conditions for plants and people were created. Our pride and joy relates to our recirculating water supply: Rainwater is stored in a water basin / water storage for the dry season. Thus, the use of mains water is minimized. Not only rainwater, but also the water that the plants do not absorb, is returned to the water basin by means of a drainage system. For larger needs, water can also be taken from the Klusbach. This brook flows through the Sonnenburg estate and is seasonally filled with water. Marked with signs, you can reach our sales point from the Sonnenburggutstrasse, which is located in and around the greenhouse. The greenhouse serves not only for plant cultivation but also as a working and sales place, so that our customers always get a taste of greenhouse air and an insight into our gardening work.
